She was found as a stray during the snowfall event and now she's safe and warm at our shelter. We are calling this lady Lynette. She is a four paw declaw and a bit shy around strangers. Lynette talks when she's excited and enjoys being brushed. When you see her tail a twitching please know that she's not sure what is happening. Declawed cats learn that swatting with their paws will likely not be an effective warning message to you that she feels threatened or scared so may resort to twitching her tail or even using her other mobile body part, her mouth, to warn you she's concerned. Watch her tail for signs of concern and know she really prefers/needs a cat litter that won't stick to her paws. Please ask staff for assistance in locating her if you do not see her in our Cat Adoption Hall.
