Thank you for considering a contribution to the Terre Haute Humane Society! We rely on the financial support of our community to provide programs and services to Terre Haute and Vigo County. Through the generosity of people like you, we have saved 96% of the animals that entered our doors in 2011. Charted in 1913 by a small group of concerned citizens, the Terre Haute Humane Society’s goals are to work toward the prevention of all unnecessary animal suffering and to teach kindness toward all living things through an area-wide education programs. Through tax-deductible donations, the Terre Haute Humane Society is able to save the lives of orphaned or abandoned companion animals, bring the healing touch of animals to the elderly and those who are terminally ill, provide humane education and serve as a community resource for pets when community members are displaced from their homes due to fire, flooding or other disasters.
