Who We Are

The Terre Haute Humane Society is dedicated to providing stray and abandoned animals with a safe temporary home until a new loving family or rescue can be found. We are a non-profit 501(c)(3)organization, which means that your continued donations keep us operating.

FLOOD INFORMATION:
If you have LOST a pet- Email: lost@thhs.org
If you have FOUND a pet- Email: found@thhs.org
Please include pictures if available, along with a description, and phone #'s. With your help we'll be able to match lost and found animals, and get them back to their homes.

Please come in to the shelter to look for your lost pet every 3-4 days, as we may only be able to hold them for 5 days!

Microchip and ID tag
1 month Free Sheltercare Insurance*
Nails trimmed & Ears Cleaned
First Office visit with a participating Veterinarian
Dog Training DVD with dog adoption

* Some limitations on insurance.
SPECIAL OFFER- $25 microchip for other family pets at time of adopting a new pet.
